About the project.

Filming the first portrait for Het Flevolandschap went so well that we decided to film a second one, this time of Dirk. Dirk is not only a tour guide and forest ranger, but also a boat guide. As a guide on the water, he (and I too) enjoy the peace and sounds of nature, and he can also enthusiastically tell a large group of people about the nature of Flevoland.

It was a particularly calming experience to film, and I was inspired by his outlook on life and the enthusiasm with which he spoke about his work and his life.

Review of The Flevoland Landscape

I have hired Daan as a videographer a few times and am very satisfied with his craftsmanship and dedicated approach. He keeps searching for the best angle or the most beautiful transition shot until he is 100% satisfied. 'Good' is not enough; the video needs to have something extra. His work has a beautiful cinematic look that we are very charmed by.
